In other words, you can't use the same exact expression in a measure in the pivot table (that you used as a calculated column in the PowerPivot window) and get the same results. This is becuase DAX executes by default on a row-by-row basis in the PowerPivot window, where as in the pivot table it executes on a group of rows.
